"A year wasted..."
We purchased a calendar/cms combo system from TerminalFour. The calendar development seemed to be outsourced to someone outside of their company and took multiple iterations and many months to work correctly. I can't speak much more about the calendar, because I was not a developer on that project. On the CMS side, they like to use "t4 tags" which are basically ways to inject cms data into a page template. These seemed unnecessarily complex and sometimes they needed to be nested inside of each other to get an output that was sanitized. When I started to notice that these little snippets were everywhere in their implementation, I asked about the ease of upgrading, say a frontend css framework. I was told that most people "start over". At that point, we decided to cut bait and move on. I will say that they do a great job of selling the product though! Shame on me for being fooled the first time.
